About Mcello
Main Teacher: Megan Scott
- Who I am: Megan Scott, professional cellist & educator with 28+ years of teaching.
- Training & credits: Carol Kautzmann (Fargo), BA in Music under Uri Vardi (UW–Madison); Fargo-Moorhead Symphony, Moorhead State University Orchestra, Duluth Superior, Kenwood, and Metropolitan symphonies; freelance chamber/crossover work; studio sessions at F5 Recording Studios.
- Collabs: Amanda Palmer, Ella Reid, Karen Paurus, Ben Siems, Tamara Kachelmeier, Tracy Perry, Devanigari.
- What I teach: Technique, tone, musicianship; classical repertoire + creative skills (improv, arranging, recording).
- Who I teach: Beginners to pros; youth & adult learners; audition prep, orchestra parts, and “back-to-cello” refreshers.
- How we work: Customized goals, clear practice plans, supportive accountability. In-person (St. Paul) and online.
