Megan Scott began her career as a classical cellist in Fargo, ND. She played with both the Fargo Moorhead Symphony as well as the Moorhead State University Orchestra. Her classical career continued at the University of Wisconsin- Madison under Uri Vardi for her BA in music. She has played with the Duluth Superior Symphony, Kenwood Symphony, and Metropolitan Symphony in the twin cities. Classically, she loves freelancing in small ensembles. She has been taught by Robert Jamison, Uri Vardi, Carol Kautzmann, and has had many masterclasses with other great performers. Megan loves playing both classical and 'outside' the classical box. She has performed with Amanda Palmer, Ella Reid, Karen Paurus, Devanigari ,Ben Siems, Tracy Perry and Tamara Kachelmeier just to name a few.
