In Person Cello Lessons

I offer in person cello lessons located in Roseville. I concentrate on teaching the individual. My strength is figuring out how a person learns and creating lessons that help students learn to the best of their ability. I mostly teach classical with a mix of folk, modern, improv, and living nonclassical composers.

Online Cello Lessons

I offer online cello lessons. These are private lessons taught over the internet live. The benefits are amazing! No travel, can take lessons in the comfort of your home, and get live feedback as to how you are progressing.

Cello Choir

I offer in person cello choir. What is a cello choir you ask....it is a group of cellist playing (singing) together. I have room for advanced beginners to advanced students. 

Online Cello Groups

Beginning Fall of 2024, there will be online technique sessions. These will be recorded and will be offered to my students. 

Self Guided learning packets

Beginning winter of 2024, there will be teaching packets for purchase to learn to play with videos, music, and a personal check in.

In person

1. What do I need? 

A cello, music, and a growth mindset. 


2. How often are lessons? 

Weekly get the best results. 


3. How often should I practice? 

Think of learning music as a sport. Your mental and physical muscles need to be exercised to be more accurate in pitch, technique, and reading ability.




Online

1. What do I need? 


Cello, a digital device that has speakers, mic, internet access and ability to steam video. 


2. How does it work? 

The student and teacher sets up a lesson time. A few minutes before the lesson, the connection will be established. The lesson will take place and you wont even need to leave your home!


3. How often are lessons? 

The best way to progress is to have weekly lessons.
